See some of the specific opportunities we provide in our latest video below:

Hampshire Music Service is committed to improving the equity to access and reducing barriers to participation, and fully funded the first year of delivery with the view to secure long term funding for the project to continue beyond the commitment of three years of support.

Working with an external evaluator, we have been able to evidence the impact of our work and develop how we continue to use music and music education as a vehicle to improve well being and behaviour in schools.

Music Fusion a local music charity, joined us in partnership to deliver our Literacy and Rap sessions for the first two years, bringing a wealth of knowledge about their area of working but also using the project to support their Young Leaders by offering employment to them, and working with us to increase our reach.

For our third year we have started working with 432 Nomads to deliver a similar provision, but playing to their strengths and knowledge and bringing new practitioners to the project.

Alongside the delivery in schools our Rock 2 the Beat programme has been running in Park Community School. At our summer festival we bring together all of these elements together to form a series of large scale concerts, inviting parents and the wider community to come and join us in celebration of the work that has been happening over the academic year.
